Sweater with faux cable

Simple, easy to wear and easy to knit crew-necked sweater made in amazingly soft CACHEMIRE + yarn. There’s a little fancy openwork on the sleeves to give it that touch of chic, and the added surprise of a soft braid made using a knitting dolly that runs down one side of the front and one of the sleeves. If you decide not to make the braid, you’ll need four fewer balls of yarn.Knit it on 3.5 mm and 4 mm needles – you’ll also need a knitting dolly and some round stitch markers to mark the armholes.Stitches used: 2x2 rib, stocking stitch and openwork stitch.We recommend machine washing to enhance the yarn’s lovely soft feel; dry flat.
