This pretty angel top with a press stud fastening at the back for tiny babies can be worn as a front-buttoning cardi when baby gets bigger! It’s so easy to knit in garter stitch in a single piece, starting at the front - the only things that will need sewing are the buttons.

It is knitted in FILOU yarn, a fine-knit, flecked, fluffy yarn with subtle, pearly highlights. This fancy wool really shows off your work without needing to use complicated stitches!

The cardigan is knitted on 4 mm needles. It fastens with flower-shaped buttons you can find in a range of colours in the haberdashery section.
