Cable sweater with striped borders

There’s a hint of the old school uniform in this sweater in IDEAL yarn.It has those old school stripes around the ribbed edges, in typical British school colours.But the cable pattern is there to remind us that this design is typical of our favourite Bergère de France creations.It is knitted on 3 mm and 4 mm needles. Use a cable needle and round stitch markers to make things easier.Stitches used: 2x2 and 4x2 rib, stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch, cable stitch.Machine wash on wool cycle, tumble dry.
